Our Purpose

The Guidance and Counseling Program at Aliso Niguel High School seeks to positively impact the lives of students by partnering with parents, community, faculty and staff.  Our program offers comprehensive planning and guidance services addressing student academic and career goals, as well as personal and social needs.  We work to give students the opportunities to acquire the educational and social competencies necessary for their growth toward lifelong success and effective, responsible citizenship for a diverse and changing world.

  • We cannot honor requests for teacher, specific class periods, or specific free periods.

  • All Freshman and Sophomores are required to have 6 courses. Juniors and Seniors are required to have a minimum of 5 courses.

 Saddleback College at ANHS

We are fortunate again this year to have a Saddleback College counselor at Aliso. Beginning September 17th and every Tuesday and Wednesday thereafter students will be able to schedule a one-on-one appointment in the ANHS library. All grade levels are welcome! Please schedule an appointment through Sign Up Genius. See Mrs. Stewart in Guidance with any questions.
