Principal's Welcome

Hello Wolverine Families,

It is my pleasure to introduce myself to you as the Interim Principal of Aliso Niguel High School during the time that Mrs. Christensen will be on leave. I bring to the position 16 years of working in high schools, which includes the last 7 years in administration. It has been and continues to be, a joy to be an educational leader in CUSD.

The high level of education that students receive at Aliso Niguel High School is due to the dedication and professionalism of the school’s teachers, staff, dedicated and driven students, and a supportive parent community. I have always been impressed with the Aliso Niguel community and school pride at TEAL TOWN! I look forward to continuing to support the success led by Mrs. Christensen and Aliso Niguel staff.

During the coming weeks, I look forward to getting to know students, parents, and school staff. With the ever-changing situation, the administration team and I are here to help and support the community. We are committed to make this school year as close to “normal” as possible, and will always keep the students’ best interest and safety as the priority.

I’m confident working together as a team of students, parents, and staff, we can build upon the strong foundation already put in motion for this year. We will continue to encourage and support students at the highest levels to achieve their goals. If you have any questions or concerns please reach out and contact me at mjhatcher@capousd.org. I look forward to meeting each of you.
