Meet the Counselors

Ms. Chan (A-K)

Ms. Chan (A-K)

Hello! My name is Rachel Chan and this will be my 4th year at Aliso Niguel. I earned my Masters in Counseling and PPS Credential at Chapman University. I am also working towards my licensure as a licensed professional clinical counselor.

I was born in Hong Kong, grew up in LA, went to college in San Diego, and now live in Orange County! During my free time, I enjoy playing board games, making DIY crafts, volunteering at church, and binge watching TV shows. My goal is to connect with the students and be a visible presence on campus. I look forward to meeting you all!

Greetings!

We are your school counselors, Rachel Chan and Laura Liegler. One of our goals for this upcoming year is to provide more preventative services through assessing and evaluating areas of needs, and then implementing programs. Our second goal is to support students through individual and group counseling. Please let us know how we can support you and collaborate together to increase student success. We would love to hear from you!

Have a wonderful school year!

Hello Wolverines, my name is Laura Liegler and I am so excited to be joining the ANHS family! I recently graduated from Chapman University where I earned both my Bachelor’s in Psychology and Education and my Master’s in Counseling. I have a PPS Credential, and am an Associate Professional Clinical Counselor.

I was born and raised in Orange County, attending CUSD schools K-12! I have a passion for traveling, baking, and shopping for cute office accessories. When I’m not working, you can usually find me at the movie theatre or brunching with my best friends. Let’s make it a great year!
